Hotel Review in Scotland: Loch Ness Guest House, Fort Augustus

Hello hello I am back after being gone for a month! ๐Ÿ™‚

I just completed my trip to the UK (Scotland & London) and US (New York) this past month. It’s winter in both countries and everything there was so beautifully decorated for Christmas, so I have a bunch of stories to tell ๐Ÿ˜Š

In Scotland, I went on a roadtrip around the Highlands and visited Loch Ness from the Fort Augustus side. No, I wasn’t able to see Nessie the Loch Ness Monster, but yes I did have a wonderful time in Fort Augustus.

I stayed in Loch Ness Guest House, planning for it to be just a quick stop for us to rest. However, I very much loved my stay there. The ambiance was very comfy, cozy, and warm.

Check in was easy with all information provided to us beforehand via email. Common room was bright, cozy, and warm with a beautiful fireplace. There are also cereal, yogurt, juices, milk, snacks available anytime at the common room. And there’s a backyard in which we were able to enjoy such lovely autumn view in the morning.

Our rooms were also very clean and complete with amenities. Candies and hot chocolate mixes were available in the room, which were definitely the perfect accompaniment for the cold weather.

Please do note that this property does not have an elevator. We knew about this prior to our stay and this was not a problem for us. Our rooms were located on the 2nd floor, but it’s just a short walk from the lobby/common area.

Here are some photos from my lovely stay at Loch Ness Guest House.
