What to Wear for Your May Japan Trip
I like to dress simple when travelling. Especially to destinations which I know will require me to do a lot of moving around, like Japan. Hotel Review: Ooike Hotel, Fujikawaguchiko
Fujikawaguchiko is a small touristy town offering picturesque views of Mount Fuji. The town was packed with a lot of tourists despite us going during the low season. Roads and attractions were all busy during the day, but the ambiance became peaceful and relaxing during the night. Similar to the Arashiyama story, I’m glad that I decided to stay in Fujikawaguchiko instead of going on a full day-trip from Tokyo. Hotel Review: MUNI Kyoto, Arashiyama
Arashiyama can get super busy during the day with people coming from Kyoto/other areas to see the famous bamboo forest. I wanted to avoid the crowds by exploring the area early in the morning instead– and I’m so glad I made that decision by staying overnight in Arashiyama.
