It’s been awhile since I last uploaded a vlog, but a new one is finally out. Our New Zealand vlog is out! It’s the first part of our New Zealand trip. New Zealand has been on my travel wishlist for a long time, especially the South Island, so finally being…

Things to Do in Uji, Japan

If you’re a fan of Uji Matcha, then this place is for you!! I didn’t know that Uji is an actual location in Japan where they produce green tea. I thought it was just a type of matcha 🥺 (i know, i’m sorry). After discovering that I could actually visit Uji, ofc I had to put it on my itinerary– and it turned out to be my favorite part of the trip 🥳 There’s so many things to do in Uji, here’s what I loved: 1. Have Matcha Lunch & Dessert First thing first! Let’s fill up our stomach with…

What to Wear for Your May Japan Trip

I like to dress simple when travelling. Especially to destinations which I know will require me to do a lot of moving around, like Japan. Japan in late May can get really hot, but also a little cool & windy in the afternoon. It’s still relatively cool in the evening though. Late May is just the time before the weather starts to get even hotter and hotter 🔥 I packed light and thank goodness I did that, because brands like Uniqlo and GU in Japan are such a good deal 😀 Anyways! Here’s what I wore on my trip 🌼🌼🌼…

Roads and attractions were all busy during the day, but the ambiance became peaceful and relaxing during the night. Similar to the Arashiyama story, I’m glad that I decided to stay in Fujikawaguchiko instead of going on a full day-trip from Tokyo. I actually stayed for 2 nights in Fujikawaguchiko and loved every second of it. I had an amazing stay at Ooike Hotel, where we got a beautiful clear view of…

    Hotel Review: MUNI Kyoto, Arashiyama

Arashiyama can get super busy during the day with people coming from Kyoto/other areas to see the famous bamboo forest. I wanted to avoid the crowds by exploring the area early in the morning instead– and I’m so glad I made that decision by staying overnight in Arashiyama. The hotel I stayed in made my Arashiyama experience even better. MUNI Kyoto hotel was perfect and these are why I think you’ll like it too: 1. They have the best location! The hotel is located just by the Katsura River, a short walk to the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge, the insta-famous %…
